The Thrud Collection

Explore our exclusive jewelry collection celebrating the Norse battle goddess Thrud. Too often overlooked in modern times, this goddess is in fact attested in several Viking Age sources and, the god Thor is sometimes called ‘the tough father of Thrud’ or ‘he who longs fiercely for Thrud’ in the 1000-year-old poems.

This collection is inspired by the Karlevi stone, located on the island Öland, Sweden. The ancient rune inscription tells us about a chieftain having ‘done the deeds of the battle goddess Thrud’ meaning having been a true and great leader. The runes on the bracelet are from this rune stone and read taiþir tulka þruþar,  which is often translated to ”the greatest chieftain” - a jewelry collection for the ultimate power woman.
